Root [Official Root Guide] Kyocera Hydro Vibe

At the time this post, I finally got around to working more on the recovery for the phone. I am compiling a first build of TWRP at this moment. depending how it goes no major errors. I'll be starting a new thread (soon as I can, kinda under the weather so might take a nap while the compiling is running, its taking its sweet time) for it and will start testing. but if there major errors. Then just wont see a thread at all.

Cheers for now.

Well first test seems to be a failure. gonna try some tweaking and recompile.
I can safely say at least it dont effect normal booting. The compiling went good, i pushed it to my device. all it does is fail to go into recovery and auto reboots and goes into android. so thats a plus. I feel better about that.

edit: Also to note i was able to restore the stock recovery after words and it works like it should. just gotta get TWRP working now.

edit 2: second attempted failed.. Gonna take a break on it for the night. here the configs, if anyone sees something that should be changed tell me ill try it and recompile.

I put the stock and compiled twrp side by side. looks like the compiler is missing allot things. its suppose to take the stock recovery, and patch it, and recompile a new recovery. mainly on the ramdisk inside the recovery. seems like there allot of initialization files missing from the ramdisk. not sure how vital they are or if that's really the issue or something wrong with the compiler configs.

the whole thing gives me a headache.

Left is stock ramdisk, right is the twrp compiled ramdisk.
