You will see that it has been tested and it works.
I think many people don't realize that by getting past the file signature will allow you to flash the phone just like you had twrp installed.
The problem is that to do something useful with it you need some knowledge.
The ability to create roms and flashable files.
The ability to write the updater script
The ability to troubleshoot when things go wrong.
Most of which is best done in a Linux environment.
So you need the ability to use Linux.
The ability to set up a development enviornment.
Many people can do these things but many don't know where to start.
The simple answer is READ READ READ and then READ some more.
Most of the answers are right in front of us.
As far as it goes with the Fierce 2...........I did all of that work.
I came up with this recovery that can flash any .zip file signed with our keys.
I cooked the device backups people provided and built usable flashable roms out of them.
I do believe that this work around ( Changing the recovery keys )
Will work on many devices.
It gets you full access to the phone with the use of the updater script.
The updater script don't need root access since it runs as root.
The only requirement is the ability to flash or dd copy the recovery to the phone.
