Help Vibration motor

My two month old 10 seems to be having an issue with the vibration motor. When ever it runs it sounds like plastic rattling. Does anybody else have this problem? I am fully rooted with soff. What are the chances htc will fix this under warranty or will I have to pay?

That's a tough call. HTC could argue that bad drivers/firmware is what is causing your issues, and that is the risk you run when rooting/rom'ing.
But... HTC has that whole no worry protection plan, so I'd try it. Can you unroot and send it to them to fix?

thanks for the reply. I dont know if I want to go through the hassle of unrooting then rooting again. I think I will just wait it out and when one of the local guys is able to get parts then I will get it fixed.

Mine started vibrating oddly after updating. It's very intermittent and occasionally vibrates like something's loose. I wonder if it's software related as most times it's perfect

I don't know but I installed a custom kernel so I could turn it off all the way.

Mine isn't rooted it's stock as I don't want to void any warranty - and I don't know How To Root a device either
