Root Safe Apps to Remove/freeze

I don't even have the device any more :( these apps are safe to freeze. Nuance is required by os if I recall
After a lot of digging, turns out with all the Google apps that do the same thing it's not necessary anymore. It's biggest OS requirement was the keyboard. Google took care of that too.
Say, my phone works great but my battery drains big time. Did a wake lock test, in fact two. Over the course of the evening inside the android system the Alarm Manager (?) was active 15% of the time, this was with sync off and in sleep mode.
Any idea what might be causing that? I've shut everything down on this page + all Verizon app (except for ringtones) because I'm on Strait Talk.
Thanks!

Love my Commando c881... except for battery drain, and yeah I replaced it with another new OEM battery.
Sun eve through Monday am id a (non-root) wakelock check using Wakelock Detector Lite. (for non root). Again, Monday eve through Tues. AM
Disabled (non-root) all recommended apps at
http://androidforums.com/threads/safe-apps-to-remove-freeze.746465/
Also, not running games, personal crapware or free apps with adds (and data drain)
I made a post at the sight recently regarding Naunce, which from recent research all functions are replaced by Google, including stock Keyboard. I've disabled it for months, tried enabling it, no better.
Because I'm on Strait Talk I disabled all Verizon apps and thne tonight the two android/Verizon apps listed on that page (? Y'know, the little green guys)
Wondering if I should disable all "android apps"connected to the disabled apps. Like I said, it runs great, just drains too damn quickly.
I used Green Power Battery Saver (not a task killer) on the C771 and it increased battery life by 100%, not the case with the c881. Dumping it last week decreased drain a bit.
Even tried Greenify for for non-root. Same results, plus slowed down function tremendously. Junked both.
I had one app that Wakelock Detector showed Monday Morning eating gobs of data "WTF, with Marc Maron" Thought that would clear it up... wrong.
I thought uninstalling this app would make a diff on my next wakelog check, instead I got the constant run of Alarm Manager in Android... with sync off and in power saver.
Any suggestions? Especially regarding "green guy android apps" connected to Verizon apps?
Tempted to disable the following but not sure if they're system required or what some do (noted w/ "?" )
Cell broadcasts
Change Mode ?
Cmas Serv ?
Qualcom and it's android apps ?
Android-green Verizon apps
Feature?
Key Chain?
New Bay Services?
NFC Services and android apps w/it
RcvDS?
Setup Wizard android apps ?
SIM Toolkit (recommended on the forum page included, but I'm not sure a good idea)
SSO Permission?
Tags?
Android apps for User dictionary and VPN, I've already disabled the main apps
Wfd Client & Service?
Android Wiper App, disabled the main
WMC Service?
I could send a screen shot but I don't want to be a bigger pain in the backside than I already am?
At your convenience, any input would be appreciated.
Thanks big time!
Wilster,
Hey man, hope your well!

OK Ive researched the following apps removed successfully from this site and XDA. This list expands on the previous one. I have frozen the below apps and have rebooted several times. No issues. But your all growd up making big boy decisions... so do this at your own risk. As always freeze and wait before taking further steps to remove the bloat. It would be nice if someone made Custom Rom for us non-coders. Enjoy!!!

Backup Assistant (Verizon backup, redundant to Googles backup)
Browser (Download another Internet Browser set as default)
Calendar
Calendar Storage (Only needed if you keep calendar)
Clock- Built in clock and alarm clock app - Does not affect system clock
Clock Widget 4.0.4 (the clock on the notification bar works for me)
com.nec.android.ncmc.phone.nvwrapper 1.0
com.verizon.permissions.vzwappapn 1.0
Dictionary Provider 4.0.4 (for the stock Keyboard)
DLNA Plugin 3.0 (streams media content between devices connected to the same home network)
DRM Protected Content Storage 4.0.4 (Digital rights management)
Downloads 4.04 (a shortcut and UI to your SD card. Pointless if you have a file manager)
Launcher 4.0.4 (replace with an other Launcher/home screen replacement first!!!)
Memo 4.0.4 (voice-memo tool)
Market Feedback Agent 4.0.4
SIM Toolkit
VPN Client (Virtual Private Networking)
VpnDialogs 4.0.4 (Safe to remove if not using VPN)
VZWAPNService 8.0
VZW SMS Filter Service 1.2
Wiper App 4.0.4 (deletes data with MobileCare updates)
XT9 and Google keyboard (load another keyboard first)
All the wallpapers

Make a voicemail shortcut button. First make a contact named voicemail and enter the number as *86,,1234 (that is star 86 comma comma and then YOUR four number voicemail passcode.) This will call voicemail and enter your passcode for you. Next go to your app drawer and select the widgets tab. Find and select Contacts, and you will select your voicemail as your contact. You will then decide where to place the short cut.

Ni6hthawk
Add the Outlook app to this list!!!
After upgrading from C771 to 8771 my battery was draining at a tremendous rate. Couldn't understand it! Even Green Power Battery Saver (not an app killer) w/it's sync manager setting made no difference. Dumped it even though it worked great with the Commando 1. Never use Google Locations unless needed, i.e. Navigation.
Out of desperation I tried Greenfly non-root made it worse, & slow. Dumped it.

Thank you Wakelock Detector non-root!
Showed Android system was awake 15% (w/sync off/system Battery saver on while I slept)
WLD details were showed Android OS Alarm Manager was the culprit. Then I had to find out what setting it off. Drove me nuts!
Then I found this https://outlook.uservoice.com/forum...on-to-disable-contact-sync?page=1&per_page=20
Turned out with sync off Outlook not only wouldn't stop running, but installed itself as System Administrator. WTF?!
I didn't have Outlook on the C771 due to storage limitations... so I had no idea, or battery drain.
I know I'm not rooted but even if you are don't let this app run on it's own, control it.
After uninstalling I replaced it with Blue Mail. Free, no adds, great reviews and a rep for security. Works well. (native app wouldn't connect)
After Outlook removal/Blue mail install Did an over night Wakelock check.... my device slept.
Alarm manager hardly budged. Lots of juice left.
Yay! :)

Also disabled (in addition to apps on this entire post):
NFC and tags
Naunce
On Google app killed feeds, voice on (works manually)
Market Feedback
Smart Card Service (not sure if I need this one?)
DLNA-Plug in
Market Feedback
Myraid C&S
Talkback
Messenger (Chomp works w/out it)
VPN Client & Dialogs
XT9 Text Input & Dictionary Provider (use Google Keyboard)
Mobile Care Extensions
Radio
Cell Broadcasts
Dictionary Provider... don't use stock keyboard
All Verizon/Commando apps except for Verizon Tones (I'm on strait talk)

Due to non-root leaving Setup Wizard in place. If system updates or freezes I'm screwed. Same with Launcher, even if I use Nova Launcher

Safe to Disable? :
WFD Client
WFD Service
WMC Service
UEX
Pisca Uploader
New Bay Service
DRM
Downloads & Download Manager (use ES Explorer 2.0)
Anything else????

Feedback is appreciated
