So i was using my phone smoothly until yesterday. Then, all of sudden(with 50% battery left), my phone just stopped recognizing my SIM card(gave me a no SIM card icon) .So i thought that maybe SIM was removed and i shut down my phone,i checked the sim card, and then when i tried to boot it,it gave me a 0% battery message and that i needed to charge it.When i plugged the phone to the charger ,boot was possible and when phone opened ,battery was at 50%.....So my 2 problems are these:
My phone wont start/boot if its not plugged even if battery is 100% and cant read SIM cards....

I checked for any water damage, but there was none.

Anyone that can help me understand whats going on?

Hey Aggelos99, sounds like an odd problem. When people recommend hard reset, its usually overkill and solves only a few problems.

1. Have you loaded any new apps since this problem started?

2. Try removing the battery, and cleaning the metal terminals on the battery?

3. Remove sim card and clean the metal terminals on that. Pencil eraser works well for both.

4. Check the slot where the sim goes in. Is sim properly seated? Does slot look damaged?

5. Because you did a hard reset, you probably do not have the latest Android version. Check that.

6. Go through the settings and look for problems. For example, if you have Battery Saver setting on, turn it off.

Go through these things then let us know how you made out.

Good luck.
