Yup. It was actually for my cousin (a very good plumber). He spent so much time at my house last summer helping me that I'm returning the favor. He was in the middle of a kitchen remodel and I saw this mess while attempting to add some circuits for that.

I said, "cuz, you need to make this right. You wouldn't let me plumb my place wrong, so I'm not going to let this stand either." We help each other out a lot and don't let money get in the way. Just the way we roll.

Thanks. Turned out OK for being in a hurry. It was pretty cold that day and needed to get power back to the furnace and such. Good thing we planned and prepped as much as possible the day before. Battery operated tools are a godsend

Oh yeah. Keep one with extra batteries in my tool bag at all times. I normally don't do residential work, but the 1st thing I was told 40 years ago was: "never be without a flashlight in a power plant." Gets REALLY dark if it suddenly trips offline :eek:

EDIT: I remember this one and am happy I wasn't on the job. I had left work early from the Fermi 2 nuke plant with several co-workers. We were out on Lake Erie drinking beer at the discharge of MPP (aka "the hot hole"), when the $hit hit the fan. All 4 units went down, and the noise from the steam relief valves were deafening (even at quite some distance from the plant proper). It was a beautiful day and we didn't really know just how bad it was until we returned to the boat club. No power "anywhere," but the beer was already on ice and the outdoor grill was working fine - "Life is Good" we all said

Luckily, I live close to the J.R. Whiting Plant (where I began my career in '76) and that old dirt burner was the 1st unit back online in MI. Had power back by ~11:00 that night (less than 30 minutes after my drunken butt got the generator going). Talk about timing...

In retrospect, it was quite an exciting day

Kitchens done.

I've shot 4 types of pole arms if a modified gas grenade launcher counts. It should but you had to do geometry in your head to hit something 75 yards away. Street to window, no problem

The vendor phoned me up this afternoon, enquiring about my actual measurements, and then said it would be too small for me. So we agreed to cancel. Apparently his "XXL" is actually "S".

Taobao is basically like Ebay, and is the domestic version of Ali Express, which is for international sales.

As I still need a new jacket, bought this one instead. My old one, which I bought second hand from Ebay 8 years ago, has had it and is no longer presentable.

Doesn't come with an iPhone though.
