If the idiot would read, she'd know. Even Wikipedia can be helpful.

I read almost everything except violence and porn.

The kid and I post no personal stuff on FB. We discuss animals. Otters and Moggies. but any animal will do. I only look at her page, and she has never identified me.

I'm getting pi**sed at so many companies who only do customer service live that way.

I don't do selfies. My cat will. We just came back from a trip to Canyonlands and Arches and watching all these selfie sticks was funny. People standing in front of the Welcome to Canyonlands sign with selfie sticks. Some also pose the whole family.

I don't have A/C in my truck, and will pull up alongside a boom car playing rap with their windows open. I'll start bouncing in time to the rap, shocking those in the car, then if the light doesn't change, we've had some good conversations.

I preferred the loud rap to the elevator style music that was popular a couple of years ago.

While I won't play Pokemon, I've had interesting talks with the people of all ages who do.

You know your not dialed into popular culture when streaming is not how you listen to music on your phone.

Pretty soon, if not already, people will not recognise this device

I'm not one to be left behind though. I long ago ripped my CD collection to mp3. Interestingly, a new car I'm buying does have a stereo with a multi-CD player. I may load it up with a few favourites.

Mine has a USB port. I use that. I had to replace one unit when red dust from off-roading somehow got into it.
The Vulcan's Lexus wants Bluetooth. I've got to try the connector in the console. I thought it was a charger, but apparently not.

Well I thought loading the CD tray up was more convenient than plugging in a phone or mp3 player. Although it does also have Bluetooth, so I can't wait to have a play around with that.

I have too many BT devices running and try to keep my phone as clean as I can so it's reliable...So....I use the audio cable and my ZUNE! Lol. Old school, but it has so many songs on it and there really isn't anything else that can carry as much and already has it all sorted the way I like. I tried iPod, ie The Dark Side, and NO.

I notice more and more that when I see the celebrity magazines like People in the checkout line, I have no idea who the people on the cover are lol. Probably because I avoid the Bachelor/Housewife/singing/dancing type reality shows like the plague.

Off topic, but does anybody else notice that any time you see an overweight celeb on the cover of one of those mags, with a headline like "I'm finally comfortable with my body", you are guaranteed to see that same celebrity a few months later with the headline "how I lost 30 pounds"?

It's why the magazines sell.

Amen!

And I refuse to read ever the covers of those but that sounds like dieting they would certainly do. Yea I can be a hard @ss sometimes. But that and the "reality" shows are a thousand times worse for you then eating junk food, imho. They are ruining your mind instead of your body and that's scary. All that is outlawed in my house. I seriously blame them for hastening the ruining of the U.S.. Like people weren't dumb enough:(
