Hi,

My android device is 4.4.2.

I prefer rooting with PC and I tried some apps like iRoot, King Root, Kingo Root, vRoot.

In my case, except Kingo Root, almost all apps are detected as Trojan and Malware by Eset Internet Security installed in my computer, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile and Kaspersky Internet Security for Android.

Therefore, according to Eset Internet Security 10, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile and Kaspersky Internet Security for Android; no need to worry with Kingo Root.

My device couldn’t be rooted with Farmaroot. Also no Custom Recovery and Custom ROM are compatible to my device. Therefore, only Kingo Root is suitable with my device.

However I have an issue with Kingo Root. Even after successful rooting process, Screen Lock issue occurs in my device after rooting. From beginning, I have been using Kingo Root and earlier there was no such issue with Kingo Root.

To resolve this issue, I have gone through a series of steps. I removed Kingo Root access. Then Screen Lock issue resolved. Then I rooted by both ways; Kingo One-Click and Kingo with PC. Again same issue occurred in both cases. I re-flashed Stock ROM. Then rooted by both ways; Kingo One-Click and Kingo with PC. And again same issue occurred. Therefore, please help me to fix Kingo Root issue.

Simply because some big name security suite doesn't detect anything wrong on your device that does not mean there can't be something there. Any and all of them can only deal with problems that they're designed to find, but in reality the Internet is filled with countless exploits, many that work in very crafty, hard-to-detect ways. There is no utility in existence that can be guaranteed to detect everything, at best they can minimize your exposure to being compromised but at worst they're just peace of mind.

This may appear to be some kind of fear-mongering but really it's just an obvious observation that none of us should allow ourselves to be fooled into thinking that just because we install some AV and/or anti-malware package that we're safe. Far from it. There's clear proof of this if you just read through any tech site or blog. People and corporations are getting hit every day, many 'protected' by some security suite.

I rooted a cheap LG phone, with KingoRoot, to use as a music player.

Uninstalled as many built in apps with an app remover.

After it started with the lock screen issue, I uninstalled it as a system app with the app remover. No more issues.
