Hello, need some help with an SD card from a Primos Truth Camo 35 trail camera. Need to view the card with my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. Problem I am having is the card is fine in my computer, but when I plug it into the card reader and plug into the phone the card is wiped clean and there is a file that pops up LOST.DIR no one with Verizon Wireless can explain and Samsung can't explain. Please advise. Thank you.

When you say it is wiped you mean that connecting it to the phone deleted the data, or just that the phone can't read it (I'm asking because using the present tense for it working in the computer suggests it still works in the computer, while "wiped" to me means "erased").

The presence of a lost.dir suggests that the phone detected a problem with the card's filesystem when it tried to load it, in which case I'd expect the card not to work in the computer either (but would be happy to be told it still does!). If the data are still on the card I suggest using the computer to copy them to a USB flash drive and then try that with the OTG cable - it's clear that the phone doesn't like the card or the card reader, but hard to say more than that from here.

Yes, when we viewed the card on the computer or using the card reader on the TV the pictures were fine. When we plugged the card reader into the phone all the pictures were erased from the card and the file LOST.DIR appeared. Tried several different cards. The phone will read them if they are download from the computer, but not from the trail camera.
