Default Don't want Bloatware. Still want updates. Best Option?

So I got the Rezound today and I noticed that 90% of my memory is being taken by background apps I will never use like facebook. I want to remove all the bloatware but I don't intend to do any other modding so I'm looking for the simplest option possible that will still let me either receive updates or get my phone back to factory.

I'm only in a rush because I'm trying to decide if I should keep the phone in my 14 day trial window and my only real concern is the battery which I'm assuming is affected by the bloatware. And if the battery is still crap after I remove all the bloat I need to be able to get things back to factory so I can return the phone. I'd usually spend days/weeks researching but given my time constraint I'm kinda hoping someone here can give me a quick answer even if the answer is it's not possible. Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like the best option for your scenario is root, freeze apps with titanium backup rather than deleting them, and keep the stock recovery. That said, I wouldn't root if you're going to potentially return the phone in a few weeks. That'd be more a long term plan.

Probably smart not to root yet but in the 8 hours I've had this phone I've watched the battery drop like crazy in between charges so I'm really tempted to. Is there a one click root option like on other phones or is it gonna take me a while to figure out?
