Default what roms are available for a Canadian GSM HTC EVO 3D?

Hi everybody-
I recently purchased a GSM HTC Evo 3d phone as part of my Canadian Rogers service, and I bought the phone with the intention of rooting it and flashing custom roms. I just moved to Canada from the United States, so I was expecting to be able to choose from a huge series of ROMS and kernels. It took two [very] frustrating days for me to learn that American ROMS and kernels don't work on a Canadian GSM Rogers device, and that there don't seem to be too many options available for the latter.

Anyway, my question is this: Can anyone suggest some ROMS or kernels that work for Canadian HTC EVO 3D GSM phones? Are any of these ROMS more recommendable than others? And where could I download these?

Thanks all, and it's good to be a part of the community (I'm new, btw)!

What do you mean American kernels and Roms don't work on Canadian gsm. Gsm is gsm and should work if its Canadian, American or European

I've read that Sprint (America) is CDMA and Rogers (Canada) is GSM, so I suppose it's not the country that really matters.

Cdma and gsm are not compatible. You'll find there are more gsm Roms available than cdma usually as most the world uses gsm
