Ok so I flashed the kernel from shin and so far every kernel I've tried has worked the exact same way as far as having the WiFi or 3g sticking. No need to fix permissions in cwm though as I previously was doing. Just rebooting fixes it. I have an idea though and will try it real quick and update

Update:
Ok so I went into cwm and unmounted system but got stuck at splash image as I figured I would. Blessing in disguise I think though because I pulled the battery to get back into cwm and remount system and reboot. At first I turned on WiFi and as always it will always go ON but never green up to pass thru data. Turned it back off and of course 3g greened up. Turned on WiFi again but this time data greened up! This is a first! Turned off and back on after 3g connected and no green. Did again and turned green! So in conclusion to my story lol you're close! Why it's intermittent makes no sense to me though because we're not dealing with mechanical parts here just 1s and zeroes but nonetheless it's close!

Day #1 pro's & con's findings after installing shins kernel:
Pro's
1. GPS works well. (Haven't checked Bluetooth but will tomorrow)
2. 3g works in conjunction with WiFi when WiFi is enabled
3. 3g switches to WiFi WITH data without rebooting or cwm permissions fix. (however, see con's for more on this)
4. Battery life appears to last longer than previous kernels used.
Con's
1. Many force phone reboots when playing The World of Goo, Temple Run, Angry Birds Rio, Angry Birds Space, Monster Shooter, & iStunt2. Usually occurs after playing any of mentioned games within 5 to 10 minutes. Get the feeling of "why bother playing" because of it.
2. Flashlight went away with RootDim rendering my flashlight custom RootDim widget useless. No longer a selection in light section either
3. Very laggy at times even when RAM is running at or around 150mb.
4. When switching to WiFi from 3g, WiFi will turn on but only goes green with data 75% of the time and after waiting very lengthy amounts of time. Progress though but still not completely resolved.
Sidenote... please make the red keyboard cursor smaller. It gets in the way when texting begins with keys in the upper left corner like q,w,e,& r

Okay i highly suggest you switch kernels it seems that one didnt do anything good thank you for posting your report
Which kernel do you suggest? I've tried New_Kernel, StockB08signed, & StockKernel-signed.
Honestly this kernel is the best so far for me as far as the WiFi sticking issue and I just fixed the lagging with setcpu. Now the gaming reboot....
Update:
Bluetooth is bad after just now checking

Okay so i have a new B08 to test did somefixings to the permissions
And if this doesnt fix it im going to remove init.d
I won't be able to test again until the weekend as per my normal behavior due to work. Although I'd much rather be testing than my job but one pays the bills (mostly) and the other doesn't. Lol anybody else able to help out Apollo to help him with this b08 he needs tested? I'll be on here daily noting progress because I so badly want this to work for him
