I have the Samsung acclaim and for some reason it doesn't want to play video text messages. Is this the phone or am I not doing something right? Also does anyone know if you can page thru slide shows?

SMS (Short Messaging Service), the technical term for text messaging, does not have the capability for video. MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) does have this capability, but the media files (videos in this case) have to be compatible with what the phone is capable of interpreting. My guess is that the messages are being sent in a format that is foreign to the phone.

What is the format, bitrate, etc of the messages?
