WIFI error

Ok guys, i could really use some help.

I just bought an Admire from MetroPCS a couple days ago. So I'm pretty new to android. I only have very basic knowledge about phones.
I have been downloading a few apps here and there from the market place, but every few minutes my wifi stops working and just says "Error" when I try to turn it on. It first says "turning on" for about 30 seconds to a minute then says "error". I have to restart my phone for it to work again.

I'm on 2.3.4

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you have a "battery saver" app killing your wifi.

Thanks for your reply tokenpoke.
Any idea what app it could be? There is this thing called MetroPCS Easy Wifi. Could it be that? The only other thing I downloaded that could interfere is GO Launcher EX and GO taskmanager widget.

Maybe the task manager.
Metro wifi wouldn't do that... plus you can root and delete it to save battery.

You were right about the battery saver(juice defernder)in my case, turned it off and WIFI came back. Thanks a TOKE LOL

I am having the same issue but I do not have any battery saver app on my phone.

Are you rooted with recovery and a custom rom by chance?

Sorry to barge in...Can't post new threads....my family has 3 Admires in the house. 2 of them connect to our 2WIRE with no problem, the other shows not connected on the status bar, but in the WIFI menu, the router is listed as connected(Blue letters)...It is NOT connected as web won't work here at the house, the WIFI DOES work at other hot spots...any suggestions???
