Sad Having trouble with my photo gallery.

I'm having a problem with My_Images not showing in my gallery. It was showing at first, but most of my photos were missing, so I tried removing it and creating a new folder with the same name ... OBVIOUSLY that didn't work and now I only have my Camera and Download folders in my gallery. Can someone help me with this issue? Or show me how to add another folder to my gallery? Thank you.

Default gallery problems

the android system automatically recreates folders if/when they r erased . at least mine did. I couldnt figure out what folder was what, one day, from installing and uninstalling so many apps, there w has a ton of folders. so I started renaming them to something I would associate, next day, it had recreated all the system folders! with the orinames lol. so.. try this power off, wait for the black screen. hold power, volume down, and the back key. youll hold them until u see a new screen with an android dude. ok so volume upp and down is up and down, and the home button is ok. I dont kno wats up with redbend test is, but the I use clear partition and then reboot with mine (cause my metroweb locks up sometimes) this might help u

Besides downloading quickpic which i agree with mystery that it is the best stock replacement try pressing settings button when your in the gallery and make sure you do not have a "show hidden" option this will unhide any folders it maybe hiding.
