Unable to charge non supported battery Samsung Admire help?

When I try to charge my samsung admire I get a yellow triangle a long with the battery. When I try to charge it while its on I get "INFO: Unable to charge non supported battery. See user manual" Help please?

Are using a battery that didn't come with the admire?

Either you're using a third party battery, if not and you're using the original one I suggest try and replace it.

My homeboy had a similar problem. He overloaded his battery, and it literally popped at the seams. So he used a battery that he had from a cheaper samsung phone that he had previously through verizon- same size, same voltage and everything, but it would not charge through the admire... He had to charge it via his old phone then put it into his newer phone to use it. He did eventually replace the battery, but I thought it was odd that it wouldn't charge via the admire even though the battery was a samsung and as far as I could tell, identical to the admire's.

I had the same problem. All I did was just keep the battery out of the phone for an hour and put it back in and it worked again. But depends on how much use you battery has on it.
