Multi-Touch is entirely a Kernel issue, We had it working for G1 / MT3G on 1.5 / 1.6 & Cyanogen has it patched for 2.*. The main issue is that the patching is completely Different on 2.*
Once again, Thing's like Wireless Tether / Multitouch will not work till we can Produce a Custom Kernel. Things like Swap will Not be able to Run until we do so, This includes even Native A2SD.
We also found the current firmware for the screen only returns coordinates for one finger. It returns following fingers as 00. They added firmware update code to the driver in that last 1.5 galaxy firmware - and the behold2 had it from the start (it was released later than the galaxy). So we can assume they plan to update this firmware in the future to support multitouch.

Just noticed that Google added Multi-Touch to App's like Browser / Maps in there Source Regarding 2.1 So it's very Possible we will get it in our 2.1, when ever that may be.
