Now that I am hating my phone because of no upgrade, I want another one, so which is the best T-Mobile phone to replace it or should I wait for another one that is coming out soon?

Thanks guys!
I am going with the Mytouch 3G Slide when my upgrade comes due on June 21st.
Although a subsidized price on the Nexus one may sway me.
One phone I will not touch is the Galaxy S that's for damn sure.
The Samsung devils can go back to hell for eternity.

Nexus One or MT3GS but Nexus will get all the latest updates first due to it being googles device until Nexus Two comes out which I assume will be very soon because Nexus One is a few months away from being outdated entirely hardware wise.
Nexus one, MT3G or Sprint Evo. My contract ends tommorow so I need to make a decision soon because Im getting my own line. Im really leaning on switching to Sprint for the Evo, but hate that they don't have sim cards. If I get the mt3g im paying the full amount though so I can keep my EM+ plan. I really want the nexus one though, but don't think it's worth adding $20 to my plan.

Mytouch 3G Slide will be $300 off contract at Walmart but you can not make payments like you can through T-mobile.
I see it but believing it that is hard to do. Maybe temporary price... there has to be a catch. $300 is like a craigslist price not new out the box price. if its true though I will most certainly be buying it or Nexus One. I will have to do a trial and error at kiosks in the mall and in stores for at least a month before I decide.
They don't give an option for buying it without a plan though but we shall see once it comes out what changes.
Go to the store and they will reserve it via their Kiosk I did that the other day but it came up as $229 for me but if I wait until June 21st I get it for $129 but she said if I wanted to buy it out right for $299 and reserve it I could bring it back on the 21st and get the $170 back......... I didn't believe that part so I will wait.

Very simple... don't shoot yourself in the foot with a subpar TMobile phone. Switch to Sprint and get the Evo or switch to Verizon for the Incredible. If you do stay with TMobile, you may as well get the N1. Even though it's older now, it's still one of the top phones.

wow...ok, it's apparently bed time for me, since I can't make arithmetic work. Which is sad, since I have a BA in Math.
And you'd save $209 over a 2 years contract by going unsubsidized.
oh, and I'm pretty sure handset protection is available either way. I know they tried to get me to pay for it after I RMA'ed my first BH2 (I paid cash, since I have the fabled $5.99 data plan).

No Myfavs is a big deal. We would have to go atleast on the 1500 minute plan because the only people we really talk to with T-mobile is......... well us.
We use roughly 2,000 myfav minutes alone.
So $120 +$10 for an added line is $130 plus all the taxes and surcharges.......... we only pay $140 a month now.
My girlfriend got her Cliq for free instead of $350 and I will get the slide for $130 instead of $400 saving and her mom got the Nokia Nuron for free instead of $180 we saved $800 on phones and are bill is about the same as what we would have to get on the EM+ plan.
It is really about what works for you.
Oh and if I do not like my phone I too can buy another at the full price.

Got to try the MT3GS today and I must say...... I will pass.
Does not seem faster than my BH2 with stock 1.6 with a lil' overclocking.
The keyboard is crammed with little buttons.
This shiny finish just calls for smudges and fingerprints not to mention is kinda slick.
Now I am torn between staying with samsung for the Galaxy S (NO), going away from android with the HD2 (doubtful) or trying to get T-mobile to send me a Cliq and hoping it gets 2.1 (I won't use my upgrade for but if its sent with their no lemon policy I will take it) or leaving T-mobile all together (Hello Droid Incredible)

Ok, for the past 2 weeks or so I've become concerned that my phone might break, perhaps the touchwiz launcher might get corrupted somehow or something. As if all of a certain hexadecimal character in the file were somehow replaced with another character, making the whole thing machine gibberish. Some time in the future. Like one day the MT3GS and the N1 hit stores, the next day, poof, my bh2 suddenly stops works. I know, spooky.
If that utterly unlikely, purely hypothetical scenario, were to come into being, would I be able to exchange it for a less worthless phone?
I have already had to return 1 bh2.

Policy wise no you need to be on fourth exchange but if you are a good talker then...maybe. You need to be on your game cause the "mandatory" exchange is a blackberry 9700...not android and certainly not the new mytouch. If the mytouch is what you want you should stop trying to lie and be honest. I did and I got everything I wanted but they didn't just say ok take it...I had to do some talking and earn it.

They offered me the Mytouch 3G Slide as well. But I have to sign a new 2 year deal and use my upgrade to get it but it will be free they are even willing to waive the $18 upgrade free and the $22 dollar express shipping. The only catch is I have to wait until my upgrade date of June 21st. I am just not as into that phone as I once was. I am really considering the HD2.
They Give you three choices on the "no lemon policy". A Blackberry 9700, Cliq XT and Nokia Nuron are what they will offer.
I got upgraded out of a T749 Highlight into the Behold 2. I am on my NINTH EXCHANGE in 6 months!

If you don't mind having no apps on your phone then the HD2 is a good phone for you. Thats a big IF yo me, might not be for you. I took mine back after 2 hours. The screen also wasn't the greatest.
Just outta curiosity, is anyone going to get the galaxy s? Those specs are amazing... :-(
As a warranty exchange I would take the Galaxy S just on the specs alone.
As an upgrade or full out purchase no way will I touch that device.
If I exchange into it and Samsung repeats itself yet again and does not support it then I can use my upgrade later. If I use my upgrade and they do it I will be stuck on 2.1 when everyone else is getting android 4.2 Ice Cream.

So, whats wrong with a nexus 1? That seems to have the best specs out there. Is it just because we can't use our discount on it really?
Nexus 1 is old google is soon going to have come out with Nexus 2 and it can't be nothing short of a few months maybe October... somewhere around that time frame if I had to guess. Google has to come out with it by the end of the year at least I mean look at how many phones are passing it up hardware wise.

On T-mobile and At&t (the carriers it works on) none have passed it yet and who willwant the Galaxy S (if its not free). Thats it as far as Android devices.
The Mytouch3Gs is 600MHz while the Nexus is 1GHz.
There will not be a Nexus Two for a while for one reason.
The Nexus One was called that because it has a 1GHz processor not because it was the first Nexus. There will not be a Nexus Two until HTC can slap a 2GHz processor in a phone and keep the price under a grand. Look for a variant of the current Nexus first like Nexus 4G or Nexus Slide. Calling the next Nexus a Nexus Two without a 2GHz processor is like calling the Mytouch Slide a Mytouch 4G just because its next up from 3G.

Before anyone starts looking the Nexus Slide I just want to let you know that picture is a photoshop job........... by me. Its a touchpro keyboard with a nexus face.

Alright you may have a point there but I would never buy the nexus if it had a slide out keyboard those are just not my thing. Maybe the next Nexus would be a 1.3 or 1.5 or whatever but nevertheless they have to come out with a second Nexus this year or the beginning of the next.
I know everyone is talking about getting mytouch slide for a replacement. But I don't think substituting a 6month phone for another 6 month phone is such a good idea. The reason I say that is the mytouch slide is a tmo -ONLY phone. Its not a worldwide release such as the g1,mytouch,nexus. The reason I say this is that it is made to run only on umts band iv [ 1700/2100]. Guess what other phone was umts band iv only --- yep, you guessed it our lovely device the behold 2. Any device that has been 'exclusively' a tmo usa only phone and not a worldwide release --- means that it absolutely sucks and you should probably stear away from it.

Thats my 2 cents worth .
While that may be true I have more faith in a phone that is T-mobile branded. Look I am not a MT3GS fan (see above) but I do think it being the "Mytouch Slide from T-mobile" means T-mobile will support it. If they don't they are just a 611 away unlike Samsuck who you can not even contact and if you get a response it goes "blah blah blah screw you yackity yack go away ha ha.......... thanks for your continued money...... I mean support".
Okay... So there is going to b a nexus 2? I've been having soo many problems with bh2. They had to send me a new one, a new charger, and now a new battery I'm thinking of changing phones also, but don't want a keyboard any suggestions?

Eventually yeah a second Nexus should be coming out late in the year or beginning of the next is what I think but you never know.
Maybe Nexus one but I don't really trust Samsung anymore so I wouldn't go with Galaxy S although the specs are amazing.
So what do u think I should do Should I give this new phone a chance and wait for the n2 or should I just change now?
Nexus2 or whatever it will be called will be released many months from now if you are to switch your phone soon I would wait for the Nexus One to be sold in stores or maybe MT3GS but that has a slide out keyboard and I suppose even if Samsung doesn't upgrade Galaxy S past 2.1 the specs do make it worth while its supposed to have FM Radio, 720p(High Definition) recording plus a High Quality Screen and a 5megapixel camera with 8gb or 16gb on board memory... plus a 4 inch screen... I also heard a front facing camera will be on it for video calling and web cams but i have no clue supposedly this is supposed to be released in July or August possibly earlier.

Fact is it is the third most powerful Android device.
It is basically an Incredible with a few things removed (flash lite, fm radio, TV out)
5MP camera with single LED flash VS the Incredible's 8MP with dual LEDs
512MB ROM VS the Incredible's 740MBs
and an older version of Snapdragon (n1-8250 Incred-8650) but both run at 1GHz
ITS THE ONLY PHONE TMOBILE HAS THAT CAN RUN FULL ANDROID 2.1. PERIOD.
except that its NOT a t-moblie phone. it's google's phone. t-mo doesn't sell it and doesn't promote it (meaning no advertising), and barely supports it.

Well at the moment yes....... I reworded that last line.
