Pinetrees, though it's nothing special to you, it's amazing to me. I purchased this phone due to my eyesight problems. Your setup is what I need to complete my visualization issues.
Sorry for this but could you tell me the different apps you have here and how you installed them.

Much thanks, Tomween1
That is LauncherPro using the Froyo dock. The weather widget is Fancy Widget, which you can download by scanning this QR code with a barcode scanner on your phone:

OK so admittedly I'm still an idiot! I looked at the free barcode scanners, but I'm miffed, how do I download them? There is no, straight up, DOWNLOAD showing on any of them!
Also is Froyo hard to install and do I need it to add these items?
OK, think I have my device laid out the way that is most functional for me... I use four home screens (entertainment, home, calendar, social) and am using QuickDesk as an overlay to get to folders, see battery info, and access power control. Overall this works real well for me personally. I am using ADW.launcher with the the Droid X theme.
I have to ask, what is going on in this screenshot? That looks like HTC Leap feature...are you using a custom rom or is that from something else? I'd really like that on my phone.
That's Launcher Pro. You either double-tap the Home button or "pinch" the screen (like how you zoom an image) and all your home/desktop screens display, then you can select the one you want. Pretty nice way to switch between screens vs. scrolling. I like the idea of having each Home screen fine tuned to a specific function like travel, social networks, general home, etc.

When you hold down on the icon and change it, it will popup with use original icon or launcherpro icons. Choose launcher pro icons and choose the mail one. Or whatever matches what you are putting there. You may have to change it and change it back to choose the icon again. Hope this helps
In the notification bar? Its a root thing. Its called Drocap2 in the market, and it allows you to take screenshots of the device, from the device rather than the sdk.

I have one too, but it's a simple[r] grey icon - in my case it's a notification from Photobucket that a picture you just shot can be sent up automagically.
Also, can someone tell me how you guys have colored icons on the dock bar in Launcher Pro? Mine are black and white and I can't figure out how to get colored ones.

TIA.
When you create a shortcut on the dock (or replace one), there's an option to choose: LP Icon (the grey assortment), Default (which is the embedded standard Android icon) or choose a custom one from your gallery!

Yes, thank you. However, I don't see any that allows a colored GMail 'M' icon. It allows the red Gmail tag icon. A greyed out GMail 'M' icon. And a picture from my gallery. Still can't figure out the colored icons. Perhaps you need to be rooted?
Found several different JPGs of varying icons, so I grabbed a few, made a few tweaks/resized, converted them into individual PNGs (w/ transparent BG). Just kind of messing around, but here's a quick sample of my DIY-ers
I'm not doing cartwheels or anything as these need more work (the edges are very soft, though it's not as apparent on the actual phone), but this was more of a proof-of-concept, going from widely available JPG icon "sheets" to usable Android icons.
