Changing the native email to gmail?

Hey Guys,

Sorry if this has been discussed previously, I tried running some searches but couldn't find anything (probably because I don't really know the terminology for this...).

Anyhow I was wondering if there was a way to change out the universal 4 homescreen app/buttons. You know the Phone, Email, Browser, Applications buttons? The only thing I really wanted to change is that I would prefer my gmail app there instead of the native email for captivate.

I think I remember seeing one review for the phone that vaguely said this could be done, but didn't really articulate on it.

go to yours app drawer, press the menu key and change to customizable grid, then you can pull down the gmail app to replace the default email one

The Samsung Touchwiz launcher? Or do you use LauncherPro or ADW?
