Default Bar Code Scanner

I am looking for an app for a bar code scanner. Can someone recommend one and tell me where to find it? Preferably a free one.

Google Shopper. Out of all the ones I've used, I like this the best..... and it's free.

I use this
Barcode Scanner - Android app on AppBrain
along with Google shopper. They both do what I need them to do and I use them quite a bit.

Side note:
Appbrain is a good site to browse apps you might need or wish to try in the future..

I agree, barcode scanner is awesome because you can read/create QR codes, Google Shopper is nice because it can check online prices as well as local prices, Shopsavvy used to be the gold-standard in shopping apps but is flaky sometimes. Target and Best Buy have both released their own apps that work well, and AT&T has their own barcode scanner app that is more or less worthless...
All of the apps I mention are free (or at least they were, last time I checked) and available in the Market on AT&T.
I would have Barcode Scanner, Google Shopper, and the Target & Best Buy ones (they don't participate with the database Google Shopper/Shopsavvy use to check prices)...

Default Is there a barcode scanner that actually works?

I've tried several barcode scanners, including Barcode Scanner and Shop Savvy as well as a few others, and all they seem to do is try to get you to an online store to make a purchase.

Is there one that can actually scan an in store barcode and return a price? I've tried using them on Kohl's Men's short sleeve shirt barcodes, an autogyro (small helicopter) which it finds and promptly sends me to Amazon where the price is almost double what BJ's Warehouse sells it for, and some miscellaneous products in a CVS drug store.

In all cases, they try to send me to Google, Amazon, Buy.com or somewhere similar.

Thanks,

Brad

ShopSavvy doesn't even work for me anymore. I would suggest Google Shopper.
