Default Samsung Captivate from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4

Hello Guys,
I'm novice in this kind of issues,
Anyway, I Have a samsung Captivate I897, few months ago I've upgrade it from 2.3.5 to 4.0.3 with the help ( by details ) from some guys in one Forum, I had some issues with the 4.0.3 and i need to upgrade to 4.0.4 or another newer Firmware.
I don't know how ( really don't know ) so please could you guys guide me ( slowely) to how to do that and thank you so much.

4.0.X was never released officially for the Captivate, so anything you do will be a reflash of custom firmware. Can you let us know which method you used to upgrade previously?

I have a couple of captivates and found the latest stable version of CM9 to be pretty good.
