Default barcode scanner
cant get the barcode scanner to work, have unistalled it and reinstalled. is it that the camera doesnt have an autofocus feature?

any ideas? I dont want to have to eat the money on this phone for another one, but i need a scanner

Barcode scanners usually do not work with fixed focus cameras like this phone has. So your next phone has to have an auto focus camera, always check to make sure it does. Sorry

I can confirm this, on my other phone the barcode scanner works perfectly, but on my fixed focus t499, it doesn't work at all.

Edit: Well a slight correction, QR codes do work, sometimes
