Lookout is a really good app for if you ever lose or have your phone stolen.
I'm with you when it comes to task killers and anti virus nonsense, and I really don't notice much of a drain on power.

Anyway, I didn't really intend to keep this as my background especially since it's not centered, but now I think it looks frigging awesome, especially when scrolling across the screen. It looks very 3 dimensional.

I use three screens on GO Launcher EX. The lock screen is WidgetLocker.
I'm using Multicon widgets to cram more shortcuts into a smaller area. My left screen is mostly blank because it used to house a 4x2 WinAmp widget. However, once WinAmp started randomly playing music at work when I turned off my bluetooth, it was time for it to go.

As stated in my sig, I'm using Imnuts' PBJT (non-OC) kernel and GummyCharged 1.8.1.

This is my post brick background.
Before i was running the voodoo lagfix and was fully rooted. Now i am back to stock EE4 with Launcher Pro. I am either gonna wait for the supposed gingerbread update or a fully solid gummycharge. Otherwise i am stock 4 life.

The other one looks much nicer on the phone than here...damn you mobile Photobucket.
But you're right...the blue one does look much nicer. I'm going back.

How do I get Weather Bug off my home screen? I hate the look of it and want something more like what many have here, with a digital clock and cleaner look.

Here are my 3 submissions for Kejar31's upcoming GummyCharge releases.
Click on the pics for full-sized!!!

One with the Android Guy!

One with the Driod Eye!

And one without either. This is the right side of the screen. I like that bolt of electricity.

Greetings from a newbie. I always figure the wallpaper should reflect the phone's owner. This is the one I was using:

Got kind of boring after a month and besides, I carry a S&W M&P most of the time. This is the image I switched to just now, courtesy of the Charge's built-in camera (it's not so hot a picture maker). Enjoy taking this puppy out to the range (but hate cleaning the gas piston, though):

We'll see how long it'll stay as the wallpaper. Probably will freak someone out. But now y'all know a little bit 'bout me...

Here's my home screen with the Go Weather widget.

-Go Launcher
-Go Weather Widget
-Background is from worldofwarcraft dot com
-Phone and contacts icons are from the Faenza for Android set. (i wish I could use all of them :/

Here's a screencap without the widget.

Just switched from the iPhone 3gs to the droid charge last week, and I love it. Haven't really customized it too much, it will probably take me a few weeks before I get bored with this look and try to get a new theme. Just running basic gummyCharged with a few free widgets.

OK, I am loving peoples home screens and I was wondering if anyone could help me find something. I used it for Launcher Pro. It was a replacement for the icons on the bottom. The icons were words. I have lost it as I have gone through soo many phones. does anyone know what these were?

SimpleText will create the icons for you and you can just replace as needed.

Out of curiosity, are you just grabbing a background from the site and chopping it down to 960x800 or are you doing it differently?

I noticed that some of you who are still using the regular launcher have changed the apps that appear in the bar across the bottom of the home page. Can someone explain how to do this? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

I have it, but I then deactivated it basically because I disabled my lockscreen and like things simpler. Whether you are rooted or not, widget locker works the same. Basically you can change the lockscreen background and put any widgets (except the stock ones) on there for easy access - either read only or for quick access upon waking up your phone.

Congrats on the new Android device. There are several free apps in the market that will do screen captures (drocap, shake it, etc.). Also, in case you weren't aware, this forum is specifically for the Samsung Droid Charge, if you'd like answers about your device in particular, there is a forum for the Samsung Admire. Have fun with your new toy.
