How to take screen captures on the Droid Charge:
Hold down the BACK button and press the HOME key.
A billion "share your homescreen" and "screencap your XYZ" are sure to start... so I'll kick it off with an official thread and a few random screenies:
Post your homescreens/screencaps below!

If someone can help me (post reply or send PM), I am trying to share my home screen -- I know how to take a screen capture on my Droid Charge, and I know various ways to upload a photo from my phone (e.g., to Facebook, to Picasa, or to share via email), but I cannot figure out how to embed it in this forum ..... I'd appreciate if someone can tell me the simplest way to do this.
If this is a dumb question, I still gotta ask it.

Hi, I don't know if you were asking specifically about the old-fashioned-looking clock (like an old-style pocket-watch) shown on my home screen, but if you were, I got that from an app in the Android Market called Analog Clock Collection. Just go to the Android Market via your phone or even on your desktop or laptop and search for "Analog Clock Collection." Download and install for free.
Then to install the clock as a widget on your home screen, you long-press on a blank spot anywhere on the home screen -- that'll bring up options such as "Shortcuts ... Widgets ... &etc" Choose "Widgets" and then choose "Analog Clock Collection" ....
This is just one example, btw, of how easy (and fun) it can be to customize your Droid Charge phone (or any Android phone) ... there are so many apps and widgets you can add to your home screens, available either for free or for a very small charge .... Definitely make sure you've got a Google Account and registered on the Android Market to have access to all these ....

NICE!!! Those speeds are fantastic, but OUCH the latencies are terrible.

Just a couple shots...I like to keep things simple and clean. All the apps I normally use are on the dock and I just scroll through the 3 different docks drawers.

Extended Controls Widget

Here are some screenshots of the Droid Charge in the same areas of Seattle, I tested the LG Revolution with inferior results, Don't know why... The Charge gets 3 times the download throughput as the LG Revolution.
Halcyon I love it. Super super classy and smart. Nice and dark so to conserve on battery.
I'm still working on the animated console room and tardis lock screen pic. I had to start from scratch with the lock screen cause scaling it up for larger screens looked bad. I am a bit busy though. I just started working for Verizon as a rep and I have to do lots of homework on prices and their proprietary computer system.

twistedlim, that is an awesome screenshot! It looks so real and detailed, you had to use a better camera than a phone to take that shot, the Charge makes it look great as well.
I liked your theme and the Clock as well looks like in grid numbers.
I downloaded that go launcher ex and then i looked at the tron theme's none had that wiget for clock only the basic theme.
Can you advise which ones or links to how you built that ... i really loved the whole aspect of your theme.

Where did you find your calendar? I absolutely hate the colors of the stock calendar! Yuck! But yours is simple and clean.

Rdalev, Beautiful Screenshot! You may want to lose that Lookout, I have read post after post on how that eats the memory up badly, I deleted my Lookout app and Advanced Task Killer, and noticed a huge speed improvement, IMO.

Thanks ! As far as Lookout, I've read it's one of the better Anti-virus programs out and have read articles recently that hackers are starting to move from pc's to smartphones.............better safe than sorry. As far as any lag, I came from the Eris, so if there's any lag I don't notice it.
Concerning ATK, I read pros and cons concerning this app, and now having a Task Manager built-in, I'll probably lose ATK !
