Question How to turn off locking / swiping to unlock requirement?

I tried No Lock, and it did not work. This is supposed to stop the swyping feature to unlock. I would rather just hit the side button. Any programs out there to work for the charge yet?

My lock utilities works. Not quite as snappy as no lock is on other phones.

Try the instructions on the link below to disable the "swype to unlock" feature on the Droid Charge (you will no longer be able to use "Noled" app after you perform this hack.)

followed the directions, can't get it to work, when i go in there and click enable, do I hit ok or just hit home, bc I tried it both ways and both times I still had the unlock screen, but IF I lose the menu i get when i hold power, i don't want to get rid of my unlock screen, I don't want to lose the ease of getting into recovery or download mode.

Unfortunately the menu you get when you hold the power button will not work anymore; the phone will just turn on/off, sorry i forgot to mention this.
