Default Deleted Contacts!

So about a week or 2 ago, i noticed that my Text Message Log list, where it has all my texts with people etc....there were many contacts that appeared as just their phone number....

apparantly, my phone has deleted ALL contacts in my phone that were not set as a "Google" contact....

Has this happened to anyone else and anyway to fix this?

My Droid Charge (VZW if that helps) got the same exact problem earlier today.

Were you able to solve it Lacit1707? Has anyone else come across this and found an answer?
