Default Stock FP5 Cannot ODIN?? Phone now bricked! Help?

Hello!!!

I've gotten a warranty replacement for my samsung charge and went to ODIN flash it back to EP4D per tweaked's 2.2's recommendation. After attempting the following the phone does not boot. I can get the phone into download mode, but cannot access any recovery mode. When attempting to turn it on it gives a little phone, two ..'s with a yellow exclamation symbol with two more ..'s next to a computer symbol. It is stuck there. I used this guide : http tinyurl dot com/7ucffah to get the stock EP4/D image and the pits file to flash back to stock from FP5. Upon trying to flash I got this error log from ODIN:

<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..

<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

I tried switching cables, unchecking and rechecking the time/reset options (the partitioning box was left checked), and many many attempts, all result in failed.

After that i decided to try to flash CWM to see if that would even work! It did not, same fail status. Here is the log:

Any helpful advice would be appreciated. I will be sitting on this bricked phone for a few days waiting for my replacement and I would like to sort this all out before I attempt anything else on the new-new replacement :P

Good advice troll.

Thanks to helpful people on other forums not like yourself, they advised to keep the battery in and sim out, which fixed the issue.

Thanks for nothing.

Your phone is not bricked at all. Bricked is never recoverable and yours is.

When you flash a lot sometimes what happen to you just happens. The first thing odin will do is erase your setup depending on what you are trying to flash. Then it will replace it with the new ROM or in your case the restore.

However, as here, just after the erase odin decides it cannot complete the flash of the new operating system. So all you did was erase your latest setup without replacing it. It is just like a desktop or laptop after you completely erase windows. Nothing is broke. All that is needed is a new operating sys.

What to do now.... You need a full restore just to be safe. Go over to my youtube channel and watch the FP5 video first, then the Restore vid and follow it. From there you can move on to the FP1 Root vid and adapt it to the FP5 which is explained by simply watching the FP5 video first. From there you can ROM or whatever else you would like to do.

Let me know if you need any help. Post here, but make sure you hit me up on youtube to let me know. I do not always get these messages.

Dave
