Sounds like your battery is going out, what kind of phone do you have?
If you have not tried to already, I recommend removing (uninstalling) your apps just to make sure that itís not a few apps running in the background thatís draining your battery (thatís some pretty hard core app usage though if it is).
If you have an advanced task/app killer and keep on top of your running apps you might want to try performing a full backup and a factory data reset
. Try the phone without any apps and run it as a clean install for a couple of days and see if it works fine. If so then it was something on the phone draining the battery, if a reset doesnít help then chances are your battery is defective and needs replacing.
Iím not sure what phone you have but try opening your dialer (like youíre going to call someone) and instead of a telephone number type in one of these special android star codes
*#*#4636#*#* or *#*#INFO#*#*. If it pulls up a testing screen click on Battery Information and see what the battery health says. Itís not always 100% accurate but it should say Battery Health GOOD. If it says poor or unknown then your battery is bad.
In either case if you bought your phone NEW and itís only been 9 months then your phone (and battery), are still under warranty. You should most certainly consider filing a Warranty Claim
One way or another it should get you straightened out and get you with a phone that lasts for more than an hour or two.
