I'd find something you like used on craigslist, or something. Save that upgrade till next summer when Sprints network upgrades are complete (Network Vision). In my opinion, Sprint usually has the best phone selection available, and they usually release their flagship phones in the summer months. Since next Summer, the Network upgrades (including LTE) will be available... the timing is great.. You'll defiantly be wanting a phone that can take advantage Network Vision. The timing works out great.. Sprints hot new phones + New and improved network!

For now.. just keep your eyes open for a good price on a used Photon, EVO 3D, or Epic Touch to hold you over till the summer when you can get the best of the best. As much as I love my new Epic Touch... I kind of wish I would have done the same.

I'm in the same boat...

I'm planning to save my upgrade until sprint releases their first LTE phones. In the mean time if I happen across a good deal on a used Epic Touch I may buy it (full retail is a bit too rich for me right now).

The $75 1 year discount isn't worth restarting a new 2 year contract IMO.

Why would you go backwards? Not only is the iPhone much smaller, it's stuck on 3G and the ET bests it in several categories

Psychotron I do not want to go backwards. I just keep thinking about seeing all of my friends that have the iPhone and i have to remind myself that I love the 4.5 inch screen. Not to mention the fact that the battery can be replaced if and when needed.

I love my 4g Touch.

I can understand this you're switching phone companies often, but if you're not then seems like you're wasting a lot of money.

Besides wouldn't it be cheaper to use the upgrade and pay the ETF than to pay full price and then decide you want to switch? And if you're buying a new phone and you have no upgrade to use then no big deal since you have the ability to pay full price.

50 bucks because i took my evo back to target where i got it and they lowered the ssg2 from 199 to 150. So basically the htc evo 3d was 100 so i only had to spend 50 bucks on this phone. Well worth every damn penny

Very simple, I keep my devices is excellent condition. The slightest issues I will have them send me another. Also my job enables me to do so. I have a sprint account for my personal, vzw and att for the job. So if something nice is released I sell the the device and put the money towards a new one. Depending on what device it is I will go with what the I.T dept picks. Since I am cool with those guys we all usually have the same device. I got tired of the thunderbolt so I moved back to sprint for the bb 9930. Tired of that, sold it for $310, went to sprint along with my $235 and now I have the epic touch. So non technically I used the same amount as the upgrade price. Also if and when I do move to another provider I can always put my personal in seasonal stand by for $8/mon.. So the ETF I would pay I put to the side and pay the stand by. So once you figure out a system things make perfectly good sense.

$99 at Amazon. No tax. Sprint couldn't do better than $199 and I'm a new customer. So far love it but below 15 % battery, functions start to fail. Screen and colors are amazing.

Less than everyone else, not sure if I can post how much. Because I work for BestBuy mobile Sprint gives me a killer deal on a phone and monthly plan because they want me to have their phone to show customers.

If you aren't eligible for an upgrade you would have to pay full retail which is $699 at best buy.

According to their website they'll only pay $75 for a Nexus S 4G and the Epic 4G Touch costs $700.

Phones are MUCH MUCH cheaper when you sign a 2 year contract, like I said I paid 3 cents for 3 epic touch 4g phones.

A penny from the Black Friday Amazon deal. I left iPhone and AT&T to come back to Sprint after 4 or so years away. Really enjoying the phone so far!

I got mine at the shack, paid 200 for it. just coming off the iphone so trying to find the things that are stronger than the iphone. So far so good, how ever the first thing I did notice; it is fairly difficult to sync you android to your lap top/ home computer for the first time.
