Pairing Samsung Epic 4G Touch with Motorola DC800

Pairing Samsung Epic 4G Touch with Motorola DC800. Has anyone had issue? my phone doesn't discover the DC800. I also have a Bluetooth stereo headphone & paired it, but after pairing the audio wasn't streaming or playing thru the headset.it showed it was connected. but when i play audio it comes out thru the phone speaker. pls help.
