Notsure Bluetooth - Code 48

I'm trying to connect my phone to my Win7 Enterprise laptop via bluetooth. The drivers never install. I went and downloaded the "bluetooth pack" from my laptop manufacturer (lenovo), and several things did successfully install, but I keep getting a "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" error. The laptop sees the phone, and can even control things like the music, but I can't hear a thing. Can't hear anything no matter if I use the "Headset & Speakerphone" option or the "Music & Audio" option.

What am i missing here?

Have you paired the two devices? Usually, with Bluetooth, you have to pair the devices to get them to "talk" to each other. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's not.

Yep, I have them paired, and can send individual files back and forth. When I tried this with my EVO, I had to first make sure they were paired, and then when connected via usb it grabbed all the drivers. After that, when I paired or plugged in, the computer could tell it was connected to an EVO.

Unfortunately, this isn't the case here. When I connect either way, Windows can't figure out what it is connected to.
