So has anyone attempted to root and apply roms to the boost mobile version yet and was it successful

If Boost version of the GS2 exactly the same as Sprints, this is the first ROM I'm installing

They are identical. I have the Sprint version flashed to boost mobile and I installed the boost Rom on mine so I have the boost apps and it worked. It runs way better than the Sprint stock ics. It's way smoother and no where near as many force closes.

Do you have CWM on your phone? How did you get root
