Sprint update

Ok so was just wondering did the recent update for sprint fix the battery issue they had for the ICS. My co workers said the battery life is great after the aug update. i dont want to install it until i am certain they fix the issue. Anyone??

Seems hit or miss. Both ICS builds (FF18 and FH13) caused very short battery life.

I didn't get worse battery life. My battery life got better. 35% increase in battery life.

Luck for you. Check out the Sprint Community Forums and see how people people are having horrible battery life after the ICS upgrade (and that is after factory resets and wiping cache).

I updated to the new Fi03 Leak from FH13 and my battery life is ALOT better...happy I updated it.

Cool. I have heard from other that FI03 is better for your battery. I think one of the big culprits is the modem in FF18 and FH13 were a step down from the EL29 GB ROM. Is your FI03 leak already rooted?

So to get the FI03 update you must root your phone?
