i have a samsung galaxy s2 that is on the sprint network i would like to unlock it to use on verizon.
is this possible?
if so how do i do it?

I'm not sure you can as Sprint uses CDMA and not GSM and if I am not mistaken that means they don't use SIM cards. Not really sure you can unlock a device that uses CDMA and not GSM.

No sim card no luck. I paid to have a phone unlocked. I changed to Credo which uses Sprint, and found out Sprint phones do not have sim cards. I really is anoying. I had to buy another phone and had only had the previous phone for six months and really liked it.

In case this helps anyone else in the future, but I did unlock my S2 using this site: Unlock Mobile Phones - Mobileunlocked.co.uk

I went through GiffGaff's site which meant that I got a discount, but all very quick and good, and I'd highly recommend them.
