Default Broken Screen/LCD

I have dropped and broken my Galaxy S2 (ROGERS, LTE) I believe it is a SGH-i727r. The screen itself does not feel broken but it looks broken underneath the screen. When I turn the phone on, the screen stays black and the touch is unresponsive. I believe I need to buy a digitizer, but the cost of these are high. I wanted to know if I would be able to use the Sprint Digitizer for the S2 would work and fit properly on it. DESPERATELY NEED IT TO WORK been without it for 2 months now. THANKS
