Default Anyone notice that almost sweet scent that is on the Epic's keyboard?

Both mine and my sister's Epics have the scent. Go ahead, smell your keypad. I like the scent actually. Its been like this since day 1

lol,

Yep, I noticed it too! However, I bet some people have keyboards that smell like peanut butter...or McDonalds....or....

Haha, but yes, you're right....

Later,

Matt!

Why are you smelling the key board in the first place? OK so now you have me smelling my Epic. Yes that scent brought back memories. Back in the day when Western Electric made almost every telephone in the country there coiled phone cords when new had a very intoxicating scent to them that you could smell for days after the nice phone man would come make a free house call to repair your telephones for FREE. This is almost that same scent.

Haha, I noticed that, too! I just recently got a Samsung Epic. To me it smells like ant guts. (Don't ask.) Okay, I'll explain it. Well, one day, I squished an ant & then I noticed it left my finger with a really strong smell, that's kinda acidic. Idk, scent off the keyboard just reminds me of it.

&& I've noticed that when I text on my keyboard, the phone sometimes misses letters and I have to go back and delete and then type the letter again? Anyone else notice that?

FWIW
Lots of plastic is not 100% plastic and most plastic has SOY in it. Hence the nice to smell. And lots of wires are coated with SOY as well. And damn you for getting me to smell my keyboard.
