Default Epic not connecting to laptop

So about a week ago my phone stopped connecting to my laptop... it still charges but thats it... no notification comes up that asks if i want to charge my phone or mount it... I tried doing a hard reset and that didnt work... any suggestions???

Did you at some point accidentally disable USB debugging?

Menu > settings > applications > development > USB debugging checkbox.

Install the drivers for the phone. just google windows 7 samsung epic drivers or something like that
