Update rooted device to EL30
I rooted my device and installed CWM. Aside from that, my device's operating system is stock.
I see that EL30 is now available, which (according to Sprintfeed) removes Carrier IQ, and gets rid of some of the bloatware.
This is the first official update that's been released, since I rooted my phone. Will the update still get pushed to the phone, or will I have to use some manual procedure?
In the past, I've gone to Samsung's opensource site, downloaded the .zip to the device, and loaded it that way. This time, it doesn't seem to work. So either I'm doing something wrong, or that process doesn't work with CWM.
Thanks for the advice.
