Multiple camera-accessing apps seem to crash phone
Not seeking an answer here, just posting an observation. Visidon Applock and SmartCompass both utilize the camera. When both are running simultaneously they apparently butt heads and crash the phone.
And I've seen other posts where folks say that using, for example, a camera based wallpaper prevents the camera from being accessed for picture taking.
What would be cool would be if developers who write programs that access a particular resource include a routine to detect whether that resource is already in use. For example, the authors Applock might write a routine that reports camera usage to other programs, while the authors of SmartCompass might write a routine that checks for such usage and, if detected, automatically defaults to a non-camera-based backdrop.
