My Exhibit II requires me to tap tap to enter text two times usually.

Any fixes for this? I just got this phone and am ready to return it.

It also has lag at other times too.

I am currently trying the maintenance update that was released recently, but if that doesn't fix it, I don't know what else to do....

I get this too on occasion when i haven't used the phone in awhile, you get used to it. Root down to the bare minimum features you have to have then start adding, you will see a marked improvement that might make it acceptable for you. It is a cheap phone with cheap components, don't expect apple performance.
