Question UNLOCK CODE needed for Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate (SGH-T959D)

Does anyone out there know where I might find a reliable source for an UNLOCK CODE for my phone? That won't cost too much, as I am currently unemployed. thanks

Default Not So Easy

I was looking to unlock my phone for an upcoming trip to the US. It turns out that Telus only unlocks certain phones so far, and the Galaxy Apollo is the only Samsung that they will do. Additional to that they charge a $50 fee to unlock. Bummer!

Does SGS Unlockr work (in market)?

Haven't tried for my Fascinate yet. Worked on the Bell version for me.

SGS unlock didn't work for me

I did however find that Galaxy S unlocker worked for me. Your phone needs to be rooted for it to work. It also feels a bit scary after you run the program because your phone randomly restarts, but once it boots up it is unlocked!

SGS Unlocker Pro is 5$ and it worked for me. Phone needs to be rooted though. I have the Fascinate 4G but it works on all Sg S

Telus doesn't unlock phones for free.
They charge $50 and you have to have an account for more than 3 months for them to even talk to you.
