Default Galaxy S commercial a good sign?

I just saw the Galaxy S commercial yesterday. Could this be a good sign for the release of the Fascinate? I can't see Verizon holding off too long since the Fascinate is the sister phone. I'm thinking along the terms of the Evo and Inc being released close together.

Probably not. Given how well the X will probably do and Droid 2 around the corner, there is no good reason to release Fascinate into the fray. Also, since the Fascinate was missing from the leaked Verizon summer phone line-up, I wouldn't be surprised if the phone won't be released until fall or even holiday season. Here's to hoping otherwise.

One could only hope it would be sooner rather than later. I do not see it being released prior to the Droid 2, but I could see an argument that they would release it along side it as one has a physical keyboard, the other doesn't. Of course they won't market the Fascinate as they do with Droids, but hey, better specs, performance, and ability to flash custom roms....consider me sold.

Yup, definitely seems to make sense. I don't see it before the Droid 2 either at this point.

Mid-late August, I can live with. Once it goes past August, I'll start sweating it lol.

The latest is october, lets hope it gets released before that. They also could be waiting to release it along side the droid 2 r2d2 version in september who knows with verizon. All we can do is hope.

The Samsung Fascinate is the Verizon version of the Samsung Galaxy S line of phones. Much like it's brothers, it includes the same 5.0MP camera capable of taking some of the best quality 720p HD video at 30fps. Unlike the other Galaxy S phones ... Read More
