Default galaxy 551

hey i own a samsung galaxy 551....
my usb is not working and according to the samsung customer service in order for my usb to work i have to put a new motherboard which will cost me a fortune(i do not trust those guys). I am also sick of the froyo thing.
So how can i flash cool custom roms without using my usb
plz help me guys
