Question ICS for samsung galaxy ace 2?

just bought my first samsung and first android phone. I used to have a Blackberry so i don.t really know anything about android. I just want to know if its true that samsung galaxy ace 2's OS is able to upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich? and if it is, is it really advisable to do so? what difference would it make? i tried searching the net for answers but can't find one. hope you guys could help me.

Welcome to AF dangwe! I moved your question into the Galaxy Ace 2's forum, as the people in there are more knowledgeable about your phone. THanks for understanding

I've searched to and couldn't find a definitive answer. As of right now, it's all speculation if your device will be upgraded to ICS. Here's an article I found...

A user posted the same question on Samsung mobiles Bulgarian facebook
and was told in reply that the Ace 2 would miss out on ICS but be getting jellybean
soon.

Samsung haven't confirmed or denied this since but all sites are reporting jellybean for ace 2 based on this.......personally i would just wait and see.....I think for sure we will get one or the other.

I hope jellybean myself

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is a mid-range handset. It's a decent looking follow-up to the original but it still positions itself in the mid-range market in this day and age. It houses a 3.2 inch TFT display, an 800MHz processor, 768MB of RAM, Blu... Read More
