Oh dear, sorry to hear that!
I actually queried the update requests with my provider & they said to ignore them because they are only reminders of internet/sms settings. I don't like downloading anything directly to my phone without knowing what it is!!
Have you left the battery & SIM card out for about 5 mins & then replaced & re-started?? Not sure what else to suggest, if it still won't start up you'll have to pop into your local store for them to have a look or replace it. Let us know what happens. Graham
