How do i connect to the internet using a USB for my samsung galaxy ace?

I got a samsung galaxy ace, and i was wondering if i could access the internet using my USB, i've downloaded kies and enabled the tethering and portal hotspot but it still wont let me go on the internet using my phone, any ideas?

install pdanet on your computer. it will install a tethering app on your phone

whats a tethering app and how will it let me use the internet on my phone?

connect your phone to pc using data cable...
go to settings->wireless and network settings->tethering and portable hotspot
and enable USB tethering check box... and you should be able to access net on your pc

not sure of this feature is present in froyo or in 2.3.4 gingerbread but i have tested it on 2.3.6 and it works fine no extra app or software required to connect to the pc. just make sure the phone drivers are installed..

no i wanna use the internet on my PHONE not on my pc, i want to be able to share my pc internet with my phone. i got access to internet on my computer already, i just wanna use it on my phone

this is what i can also use as well... usb to pc..

if you have wifi adapter for your pc you can use a software called connectifyme to create a wifi hotspot... i used i for a while before i got a router and it worked fine.

you can't connect galaxy ace duos to pc/laptop internate through usb. I looged a complaint in samsung and this is the answere i got it from them. Only way to connet to internate is using wifi hot spot. If you have internet on your home, purchase any compatible wifi Router. Use your phone to connect to the router using wifi (i havn't tried yet, but this is an official confirmation from samsung service).
