I have just got a Samsung Galaxy Ace (5830) but I also have an Ipod touch. I have bought lots of books from Kindle on my Ipod ...... how do I transfer or copy them onto my Galaxy Ace ???

Use the Kindle app for android, get it from the play store.

i Don't own an ipod so i really can't help you there, but if you can get the ebook file(.mobi format) onto your pc then you just tranfer that into your kindle app folder on the sd card.
Or see if the kindle app has a feature to migrate to a new device.
