Question KIes on Ubuntu

Anybody managed to get Kies working and connected to phone through Linux/Ubuntu?

If not, how else do we get our firmware upgrades?

Nope ... Kies uses .NET technology and this currently does not work on wine/Ubuntu. Run windows in a Virtualbox under Ubuntu.

was thinking that might have been the answer, hate windows lol. but i suppose it is a necessary evil so as no over the air update capability...
