Default Samsung Galaxy 5 and 2.2

I'm looking to buy Samsung GT I5500 Galaxy 5 but it only has 2.1 and wifi hotspot is a requirement..

Where can I see when 2.2 is going to be on Samsung GT I5500 Galaxy 5?

I don't think official release is out yet. Checked via Kies and only 2.1 update 1 available at the moment (in the UK here). I read on the forum somewhere that Samsung may push out Froyo in March 2011

Unistall kies, reboot, reinstall Kies. then try again, 2.1.1 out since last month.

A1 customers from Austria just received FroYo today. Samsung Android 2.2 releases for our phone are progressing day by day. I am hoping to see French and UK version of FroYo in the next days.
